And in case someone wilfully misunderstands, the fact that I agree with and have quoted Sir Michael on this does not mean that I in any way challenge the view that there is no excuse for riot and disorder, whoever does it, whether  they are on the right or left, whatever religion they follow, if any, and regardless of the colour of their skin.)
